The Big Green Machine is tracking over 550 projects, $310 billion in investments, and 400,000 estimated jobs in the solar, wind, battery, and electric vehicle supply chains (mine to factory) in the United States, Mexico, and Canada that have been announced since 2010.

The Big Green Machine includes analyses based on project status, jobs, politics, foreign investments, socioeconomic indicators, environmental justice, the electricity grid, and consequences of Trump 2.0.

This is The Big Green Machine dashboard, produced by Jay Turner and students at Wellesley College, which tracks clean energy manufacturing investments in the wind, solar, advanced batteries (lithium-ion), and electric vehicle supply chains. It includes facilities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For each site, it includes detailed information about capital investment, target production levels, employment, project status, union status, and government support (at the local, state, and federal levels). The dashboard is interactive and the underlying data is publicly accessible.
